WebI had back issues for a long time while playing cause I would sit on the floor or on a chair not really meant for guitar playing. All my issues went away when I got a drum throne. I prefer the shape of the seat over a regular bar stool and I found it easier to find a nice throne with a backrest over a bar stool. YMMV but I would recommend it.
